What an exciting week of photography for me. I got to meet the new bundle of joy belonging to “Miss Kalissa” Keanu’s former, incredible, amazing, one-of-a-kind Special Education teacher.
When my son joined her class, she was fairly new at teaching autistic children. As I got to know her, I realized that I had never seen someone more skilled, patient, compassionate and organized as she was. She will always be known in my mind as a “priceless gem.”
She would go above and beyond to connect with the children, get to know their strengths and individual gifts. Even in the summer she stayed active in their continued learning, I will forever be grateful for the years we spent with Miss Kalissa.
I was more than honored to photograph her family, her beautiful new baby Emmett and her husband Ryan. Her Mom, Dad, and extended family also joined us.
