Here is a shoot that I literally could not wait to do!
You see, something magical happened to me about 4 months ago.
I was connected with another amazing autism mom in my area, we met a few times for parent advocate meetings – we talked a few times about how hard it is for our special needs kids to socialize, and so we exchanged numbers.
One day it dawned on me that I have several mom friends of special kids who don’t know each other – I know them, but, they don’t know each other….
So I planned for us all to meet for lunch.
Let me tell you, there is NO WAY you could have told me what was about to unfold that day. It was the kind of magical experience (no alcohol involved) that was SO EPIC it changes your life.
We got together at Sue’s house to shoot photos of our “baby badgers” last week. It was a warm sunny day, it was pure chaos, and it was a blast.
Of course we had grand plans for this photo shoot, and well…..you know how that goes….Life took over.
The photos are not perfect, they are true, honest and beautiful.
I love these women and their kids, I look forward to growing old with them.
