Joanne + Chad, on 35mm film

So, a little over a year ago, I decided I missed shooting 35mm film, and I dusted off my old Minolta gear, and bought a Canon Eos-3 film camera.

I bought and read some amazing books about the revival of film, and it got me so happy, so inspired I decided to take and shoot the film cameras as often as I could.

I usually take one film camera with me on most of my Flight Attendant layovers and have had a blast shooting all sorts of things and people.

On Sep 16th, I was hired to shoot a beautiful wedding at Thornewood Castle in Lakewood, WA

I was a bit nervous, but, brought one roll of black and white film and one camera and thought, why NOT?

The first time I’ve shot Ilford Delta 400 film since 2004, and well, I’m in LOVE again!

I snuck these shots in while I worked – and I’m so happy I did!

My ultimate goal would be to shoot portraits and weddings exclusively on 35mm film – so, keep that in mind if you are in the market! I’m your girl!
