Depoe Bay, Thanksgiving 2011

I know I have told everyone I know this, but, I had the BEST THANKSGIVING ever in my life this past year. I say that for many reasons, being married to a Flight Attendant and being one myself, usually one of us is gone flying – and all Holidays can be very hard for families living with autism….so I was thrilled when I saw that this year we were both off, and able to visit my Mum and Dad in Depoe Bay, Or. We had the most peaceful week of relaxing and taking in the ocean air, had fun serving customers at the family shop Baywalk Cafe. Our day at the beach was amazing, we walked and relaxed for hours, Keanu is so happy on the ocean, he took in all the elements and it was so great to be with him, in his world. The pics of him laying in the sand are so sweet as he made a sand angel, then stood over it, pointed at it and asked “what’s this?” SO CUTE! Jasmine loves her Nanna and Poppa so much, she cried when we left. I am so grateful, and thankful for all of my blessings.
