Here is my lovely friend Kalissa and her gorgeous baby girl Matilda !
Our family was so fortunate back when Keanu was in Kindergarten – Kalissa was his Special Education Teacher for 3 years.
To say she had a gift for her field, is an understatement. She ran an amazing classroom.
She was skilled, driven, kind, compassionate and saw the best in all of her students.
Sometimes, in life, you will meet people – they will leave their mark on you and your children, and you can never truly thank them enough. To our family, that is Kalissa.
Finding her was like discovering a pearl, in the sea that is autism.
I was so excited to photograph her 2nd born, at just 10 days old – using expired 35mm film.
