Shooting a roll of Expired 35mm Film – April 2016

Hello Everyone!

Spring is officially here !

I feel like I am bearing witness to God’s miracles everywhere I look !

Gorgeous flowers are all over the state of Washington.  To me, it looks like heaven; on earth.

I loaded a roll of expired Kodak Ultramax 800 35mm film into my little Canon Elan 7 (with an old Lensbaby 2.0 lens + a Canon 50mm 1.4 lens)

In one weeks’ time, I had been to Honolulu, Mount Vernon, Wa (the TULIP festival) and roamed around Tacoma looking for Cherry Blossom trees.

I anxiously waited to see how this roll turned out, as I shot it fully manual, no light meter, just winged it ALL the way!

Well, I picked up my lovely prints and CD today from Robi’s camera in Lakewood, and I gasped!

These prints are among the most beautiful I have ever made!

FILM, FOREVER!

Aloha, xo
