Hello Everyone !
I hope you are all having an epic summer thus far !
I have been streamlining my massive camera/film collection lately, and I have acquired a couple new point and shoot cameras, and I have scored some expired 35mm film rolls…..
So! Of course, I took my new scores to work with me!
C’mon, I am a stewardess, you would do the same if you were me.
In the span of one week, I was in Tacoma WA (my studio downtown)
Waikiki Beach, Oahu —- and all over the state of Alaska !
I always, *always* marvel at the scenery out of my stewardess porthole window.
Sure, it’s not as large or even as clear a view as a passenger window, but, to me, it will always be magical.
I see things before the passengers do, and from a much different perspective.
Then! Ahhhh……I land and I change clothes and hit the streets no-matter where I am !
Film, is the perfect fit for me.
I grab it and go, it’s crazy, honest, organic, imperfect, damaged at times, and it’s timeless.
The recipe, of course all depends on the type of camera, the film loaded and my composition.
I am HOOKED.
What other type of photography can claim all of that ?!
